In support of the activities of 3 projects in the field of education on sustainable development, which are being implemented at the Faculty of Economics, University of Tirana, namely the “Promoting Climate Change Adaptation and Disaster Risk Management in the framework of EU Integration” project, the “Promoting knowledge on EU policy in Fiscal Administration, Climate, and energy Topics” project of the Jean Monnet Module field of action and the “1Future-jOiNEd For sUsTainability – building climate REsilient communities in WB and EU” project of the field of CBHE action, on June 8, 2023, a joint meeting was organized with representatives of the National Agency of Civil Emergencies . Participating in this meeting from the National Agency of Civil Emergencies were Mr. Robert Hysenllari, Director of Emergency Response Coordination Preparedness and Mr. Jonian Harka, Director of Education, Training and IT.
In this meeting, the contribution that the Faculty of Economics has in the field of education and research on sustainable development, adaptation to climate change and disaster risk management was presented.
The meeting was concluded with various ideas for future cooperation between the institutions, in support of sustainable development objectives and national strategies for disaster risk management.
