“Climate Justice and Migration Agenda in the EU and the Balkans”
The Summer School on “Climate Justice and Migration Agenda in the EU and the Balkans” aims to bring together students and early-career researchers to explore the intersection between climate justice and migration policies in the context of the European Union and the Balkans.
This summer school will offer an interdisciplinary approach, combining academic and practical perspectives on current challenges related to climate change, human rights, and population mobility.
What will the Summer School offer?
- Lectures and discussions with experts from the project’s interdisciplinary working group;
- In-depth knowledge on climate justice, human rights, and migration policies in the EU and the Balkans;
- Practical training in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) for assessing climate risks in research;
- Certificate of participation.
Eligibility and Application Requirements
Interested candidates are required to complete the online application form and submit:
- A motivation letter (200–500 words), uploaded through the application form;
- A proof of student status indicating the study program (can also be submitted in person on the first day of the summer school);
- Confirmation of English language proficiency (through the application form).
