📅 June 9, 2025 | A showcase of sustainability, collaboration, and academic leadership through the Green Projects roundtable that took place at the Faculty of Economy, University of Tirana
At its final phase of implementation, the Pro-Facts team took part in the “Green Projects” roundtable hosted at the Faculty of Economy, UT—an inspiring gathering that brought together faculty members, researchers, and institutional representatives to highlight efforts toward a more sustainable and greener future.
🔍 The event aim was to present project focusing on:
- Green finance and sustainability
- Climate-focused scientific research
- Public-private cooperation in green innovation
- Capacity building and policy development
💡 Among the featured initiatives was our very own Jean Monnet Module “PRO-FACTS – Promoting Knowledge on EU Policy in Fiscal Administration, Climate, and Energy”, which has played an active role in:
✅ Advancing academic discourse on EU green finance and climate policy
✅ Equipping students with skills aligned to EU sustainability goals
✅ Hosting public lectures and stakeholder dialogues with national impact
A lively discussion followed, focusing on the challenges of translating green projects into business practice, especially regarding access to finance, institutional coordination, and technical capacity. Participants highlighted the Faculty of Economy’s strategic potential as a bridge between academia, policy, and the private sector.
✅ The consensus: this format must continue—to foster knowledge-sharing, strengthen partnerships, and build lasting momentum for Albania’s sustainable economic development.
