Expert: Mirela Kamberi
The Faculty of Economics hosted an open lecture delivered by Mirela Kamberi, focused on the critical theme of climate change and its influence on the energy sector in Albania and the European Union. The lecture focused on the ongoing global transformation toward clean energy and the policies shaping the future of this sector.
Kamberi presented the opportunities and challenges Albania faces in expanding renewable energy, the importance of energy efficiency as a mitigation measure, and the role of EU climate and energy regulations in accelerating the country’s green transition. Students participated in the discussion, expressing strong interest in the energy landscape and the career opportunities emerging from sustainability-driven reforms.
