The official Kick-Off Meeting of the project “Improving Knowledge for Climate Justice and Human Rights in Albania – JusticeForClimate” took place on 22 October 2024 in Faculty of Economics, University of Tirana. The event brought together key members of the academic team, module leaders, and field experts to initiate the implementation phase and align on the project’s vision, objectives, and timeline.

- Define the calendar of activities for the project’s first year.
This initiative, supported under the Jean Monnet Actions of the Erasmus+ Programme, aims to strengthen the academic discourse around climate change, human rights, and EU values. It seeks to build knowledge and awareness among students, researchers, and professionals by embedding interdisciplinary content into targeted academic modules.
🔍 Project Objectives:
- Promote EU studies related to climate justice and human rights;
- Integrate EU values and policies into local academic contexts;
- Foster student engagement with global environmental and social justice challenges.
The project will focus on the development and implementation of three Jean Monnet Modules, addressing urgent themes such as disaster risk, climate-driven mobility, and the socio-economic implications of climate change in the European Union.
