Celebrating of knowledge and collaboration, the Jean Monnet Module Pro-Facts at the University of Tirana concluded its short intensive course on Climate and Green Finance Agenda in EU. The certification ceremony, brought together students, faculty, and other guests to recognize the achievements of participants.
The Pro-Facts Jean Monnet Module
The Pro-Facts Jean Monnet Module, aimed at promoting knowledge on climate, energy, and green finance, has been a beacon of excellence at the University of Tirana. Under the context of EU integration and policy, the Jean Monnet Module Pro-Facts developed three specialized courses:
- Energy Markets:
Integrated within the existing course, this module enriched the curriculum with European experiences in the field of energy. Topics included renewable energy resources, EU carbon markets, and best practices in energy implementation.
- Fiscal Administration:
Enriching the existing fiscal administration course, this module delved into green taxation, tax fairness, climate taxonomy, and welfare. Students explored the European perspective on financial sustainability.
- Climate and Green Finance Agenda in EU:
An intensive specialized course, open to all interested students, professionals, and beyond the institution. Participants delved into the impact of climate change and energy mitigation policies on financial markets within the EU. Topics covered sustainable development, climate finance, green financial instruments, and financing in developing countries.
Key Achievements of the course:
Throughout the course, students engaged with stakeholders, gaining firsthand insights into EU policies and practices. Participants from diverse study programs collaborated, bridging economics, finance, and environmental sciences. The successful completion of the course was celebrated during a formal certification ceremony.
