In a media appearance in April 2023, professors Elona Pojani and Perseta Grabova from the Faculty of Economics, University of Tirana (FEUT) highlighted the university’s growing engagement in sustainability, climate action, and the green transition through education, research, and EU-funded projects.
Among the initiatives presented was the Jean Monnet Module PRO-FACTS (“Promoting knowledge on EU policy in Fiscal Administration, Climate and Energy Topics”). Professors Pojani and Grabova emphasized the module’s role in strengthening understanding of EU climate and energy policies, green finance, and fiscal governance, equipping students with the knowledge and skills to engage in Europe’s transition toward a low-carbon economy.
The discussion also highlighted other FEUT projects addressing climate resilience, sustainable finance, and environmental economics, reaffirming the faculty’s commitment to aligning higher education with the European Green Deal and Agenda 2030.
Through these initiatives, the Faculty of Economics continues to nurture responsible and forward-thinking professionals who can contribute to a greener and more resilient Albania.
